Efficiency grade:
Product marking in accordance with PN-EN 407:1997 determines the resistance grade of the material the product is made of. The efficiency grade is indicated by a six-digit code in the tag of each. The achieved efficiency grade:
4 – indicates the burning time. 2 - indicates the duration of contact with a hot object, whose temperature amounts to 250°C. 2 – is the heat penetration indicator. 4 – is the heat conduction time. 4 – is the indicator of the resistance of the fabric to liquid metal splash. x – the material has not been tested for major liquid iron splash.
The system of materials the gloves are made of was tested for major liquid aluminium splash (in accordance with PNEN 373:1996). Results of the tests: 360g of liquid aluminium.
Purpose:
The protective gloves for foundry workers are designed to protect the hands from flames, liquid metal splash, slag spattering, intense heat radiation, contact with hot objects and convection heat.
Materials:
The gloves are made of the following materials: - metallised glass fibre ST-97 and non-flammable impregnated cotton fibre - DK 8/150 N at the cuff and the top of the glove - bovine split leather, non-flammable wool and non-flammable lining in the grip section.
